Ogoh-ogoh is one of the Bali traditions are staged regularly.  A statue that built of wood and bamboo,  so high about 20 feets. It is made ​​for Ngerupuk parade, which take place on the eve of Nyepi day in Bali. Ogoh-ogoh usually has the shape of mythological beings, most of the devil. These  Bali traditions are symbol of  Bhuta-Kala, according to Hindu teachings. Beside it, it is also considered a symbol of nature's mode that form the malicious characters of living beings. Ogoh-ogoh are usually made by people that live in one village. Sometimes helped by the group of artists found in village around Bali. The process is quite long, need three months till finish.
An Ogoh-ogoh is usually standing on a unique place. That made from timber planks and bamboo moven. It is pad on shape and design to sustain the ogoh-ogoh while carried around the village or town.
During the procession, the Ogoh-ogoh is rotated counter-clockwise three times. This act is done at every T-junction and crossroad of the village. It is accompanied It is intended to bewilder the evil spirits so that they go away and cease harming human beings.
After being paraded on a convoy around the town, finally it is burnt to ashes in a cemetery as a symbol of self-purification.
